Beanblock Fun in Newark
Over the past two weeks, Absolutely Amazing Children’s Entertainment were delighted to join in with some very special events at the Bean Block Cafe! A family friendly cafe in the heart of Newark, Beanblock offer delicious cakes, coffees and lunches in a cosy and inspiring setting.
Beanblock put families at the heart of the community and are open Monday to Saturday 9.30am-5pm. Performers from Absolutely Amazing Children’s Entertainment appeared as Elsa, Moana and Woody.
Dusting off their dancing shoes the characters brought all the fun and magic of their stories alive in 1 hour events at the cafe. Joined by lots of eager children and adults alike, the 1 hour events saw socially distanced fun including singing, dancing, games and bubbles. It has been a challenging year with lockdown and restrictions but we have worked hard to adapt our children’s events so the children can still join in the fun and spend quality time with our authentic performers. Melissa brought her daughter Riley to the event along with her cousin Isaac ( pictured below) and both children especially loved the Island Limo game. Their costumes were fantastic and this was the second time they both met Moana, as Riley celebrated her birthday earlier in the week with a Moana themed party. (Picture inserts- Melissa has given permission for us to use them) Performer Katie said “It’s so lovely to see families out and about at events again, enjoying themselves and really making the most of super venues like the BeanBlock Cafe. We love to bring smiles to their faces and lasting memories that they can look back on.” Liam, pictured below as Woody said “It was my first time out as Woody and I really loved the response he got, and the enthusiasm with which everyone gave to the dancing games.” Abigail appeared at the cafe as Elsa and said, “My favourite part of the Elsa event was singing my favourite songs with the children. Their excitement and enthusiasm was utterly infectious and it was a joy to perform alongside them!”
It really has been a lovely two weeks of events and we send a big thank you to the Bean Block Cafe in Newark for booking us.
