How to Book

  1. Decide on your party theme / character
    To help you decide all of the information including party content and prices can be found via our Party Themes page  If you would like to be sent this information on email please contact the office.
  2. Check on availability
    Contact the office by calling 07795 342639 or emailing to check on availability for your preferred date and time.  Please note that our party slots are between 1o am and 1 pm or between 3 pm and 6 pm. (this allows our entertainers to travel between parties and allow set up time)  
  3. Provisional Bookings
    If you have enquired about a specific date with us please try and get your booking form completed as soon as possible – we are getting increasingly busy this year and it’s difficult to provisionally hold dates for any longer than a week.
  4. How do I secure my booking?
    Provided we can accommodate your chosen time and date you will be emailed a link to our online booking form to complete (along with a Word and PDF version which you can print out and complete if you prefer and returned to Get Happy Entertainment by email or post) along with a 20% deposit.
  5. How do I pay my deposit?
    Deposits are accepted by Bank Transfer (BACS) only and you will be sent our account details when we email you the booking form.
    It is important that the reference for your deposit is clearly stated on your booking form – any reference will do such as your name as long as this is shown on the booking form- without the deposit we cannot complete your booking.  Equally we cannot complete your booking if we have only received a deposit and not your booking form so please try and do them at the same time.  Please consider in your total any additional costs such as travel, extra characters, snow machine etc.  This is all detailed on the booking form and the party information.
  6. How much is the deposit?
    The deposit is 20% of the total cost of the party.
  7. ​Do you charge for travel?
    Travel is included free of charge within 20 miles of NG5 (Nottingham).  Over and above this radius travel is charged at 45 pence per mile each way.  Travel over and above 20 miles is assessed on an individual basis and takes into account factors such as other party bookings that day and where they are located (which may impact the entertainer’s ability to get to your booking) plus other considerations. 
  8. Where should deposits be paid to?
    Deposits are only payable by Bank Transfer (BACS); we are unable to accept deposits by cheque, PayPal or over the phone as being a small business it is not financially viable – if you are struggling with BACS please call the office on 0115 9056224 to arrange an alternative.  It is important that for the reference you include the surname as stated on your booking form and the date of the party.  On your booking form you will be asked for this reference along with the date the deposit was paid so we can match your form with your deposit.
    Our account details will be sent to you via email for you to pay by BACS.
  9. What happens next?
    Depending on how busy we are please allow up to 5 working days for us to process and confirm your booking. If you are concerned at any time please call the office on 0115 9056224 – if we don’t answer please leave a message and we will call you back.
    Once we have confirmed your party the next time you will hear from us will be the week of your party when we will send a final confirmation to you.
