One of the biggest parts of his life, however, is ensuring the safety and happiness of his young daughter, Mavis, who he struggles to accept is becoming a young woman. Despite years of housing spooky monsters in his hotel, his scariest challenge yet seems to be accepting that Mavis is ready to do some growing up.
