Hey there party planners!
With over 11 years of rocking the East Midland’s children’s parties, I’ve seen my fair share of shindigs. I’ve lost count, but I reckon I’ve danced my way through at least a thousand gigs. And let me tell you, I’ve learned a thing or two about what makes a party soar or sink, especially from the entertainer’s point of view.
Now, when you’re hiring an entertainer, you’re aiming for a stress-free blast, right? Well, that dream party takes a bit of teamwork between you and your performer. Communication is key! Take some time to chat with your entertainer and make sure they’re on the same page as you. Look, an entertainer who agrees to everything might not have the chops you’re after. Experienced entertainers? They’re like treasure troves of party wisdom. So, don’t shy away from picking their brains. Trust me, a smooth-sailing party is all about that teamwork. Chaos? No thanks!
Let’s talk balloons.
Balloons. Can’t have a bash without ’em, can you? They’re like instant party magic. But, hold up, they can also be the catalyst for chaos.
As an entertainer who’s all about keeping the party vibes chill, I walk a fine line between fun enforcer and buzzkill. It’s all about balance, folks. But let’s not forget, parties are meant to be fun! Yet, unchecked fun can quickly spiral into mayhem. Thankfully, there are ways to keep the peace.
First off, if you’re having balloons, keep ’em off the floor. I know, I know, sounds like a buzzkill move. But trust me, loose balloons can turn into rogue missiles in no time. And that squeaky, poppy noise? Not exactly party vibes, is it?
Now, if you’re having a free-play session, go wild with balloons on the floor. They’re a cheap and cheerful way to keep the little ones occupied. But if you’ve booked entertainment, keep the focus on the show. Too many distractions? Recipe for chaos, my friends.
Oh, and helium balloons? Beautiful, but keep those strings out of reach. Trust me, you don’t want a kiddo army claiming them all.
Remember, some kids aren’t balloon fans, especially those on the spectrum. Let’s keep the tears to a minimum, yeah?
So, here’s the lowdown:
- Keep floor balloons away during entertainment time.
- Helium balloons? String just above little grabby hands.
- Secure helium balloons to chairs for extra flair.
- Watch out for burst balloons – choking hazard!
- And adults, let’s leave the balloon catapults at home, yeah?

It’s fantastic once again to say that we passed our 1,000 likes milestone on Facebook, enquiries are coming in by the bucket load and we are so thankful for patience as we have so many to get through! But don’t let that put you off, we are so delighted that people are even booking with us into 2017 now and each enquiry is important to us. As always do contact us as early as you can do avoid disappointment, and we can help you on your way to organising that all important magical birthday!
Quite a few of our characters have even had makeovers with brand new costumes, wigs and accessories! We like all of our characters to look authentic for your children, like they’ve come straight out of the movie or storybook. All of our actors are dedicated to giving your child a birthday to remember, and before you book, always bare in mind that we have a very wide range of characters to choose from! From Superheroes to Princesses!
We are even proud to say that we now have quite a few regular people who book us every year! And because of all this popularity we have a few new team members on board, including professional Actors Steve Shaw and Alana Moran.

Finally, remember we don’t just do parties – we also do events! You might catch us throughout the year at various places, singing, posing for photographs and even signing autographs! The Next Event is at Great Central Railway in Loughborough, from Saturday 30th April to Monday 2nd May. Tinkerbell & Captain Hook will be part of the bank holiday Peppa Pig weekend, so come on down for abit of Disney magic!
Already we are into April and our characters are enjoying the sunshine – as Tinker Bell & Captain Hook will be paying a visit to Great Central Railway in Loughborough! Meet them at the platform for three wonderful days, as Tink will be making some magical wishes come true with her Pixie Dust! But be careful, wherever Tink goes the dastardly Captain Hook isn’t too far behind, making sure she isn’t recruiting more children to join Peter’s team of Lost Boys back in Neverland! They will both be there from April 30th to May 2nd, so come on down to say hello to everyone’s favourite Fairy and Pirate Villain! (more…)
It has been a while since we posted on the News page so we thought we would update you on some of our magical parties from the winter season! First we would like to wish you all a very Happy New year! We are so excited to meet lots of new freinds in 2016 and of course we hope to see some of our old friends too! We have had an amazing year we cant thank you all enough for your support!
I’d been excited for this party for the longest time, and my partner Daniel was also looking forward to hosting it with me. ‘Ariel’ has always been one of my most favourite Princesses, I always loved the fact she was a mermaid and had this beautiful dazzling red hair! I wanted to completely transform for the party, so I even coloured my eyebrows red and customised some of my costume with beads and starfish!
